I designed the page layout for Kinauvit? What’s Your Name? The Eskimo Disc System and a Daughter’s Search for her Grandmother by Norma Dunning!

The visually simple design of this book allows the difficult and complex story it tells, of colonialism and cultural genocide, to take center stage. The striking chapter titles bring focus to the Inuktitut words that ground the story in Inuk culture.

Typefaces: The titles are in Courage. The main body is set in Grad, while the chapter numbers, block quotations and footnotes appear in Sofia Pro.
